Add a Lenovo Storage V7000 Gen1 expansion enclosure to an existing system.

To add an expansion enclosure into an existing system, complete the following steps:

Install the enclosure in the rack.
Attach the power and SAS cables.
Power on the enclosure and wait for the SAS LEDs to turn on.
Start the management GUI.
Go to Monitoring > System.
On the System page, selectActions > Add Enclosures.
Continue to follow the on-screen instructions.
