Each
single processing unit is a node canister, which is also
called a
node. The two nodes within the enclosure make an I/O
group that connects to host systems and optionally, to external storage
systems.
Note: Both nodes in an I/O group must have the same amount of memory
installed.
Configuration node A configuration node is a single node canister that manages configuration activity of the system.
Technician port The technician port is an Ethernet port on the back panel of a Lenovo Storage V series canister. However, the location and considerations for using each port differ between Lenovo Storage V3700 V2, Lenovo Storage V3700 V2 XP, Lenovo Storage V5030, and systems.
