This topic provides information about the internal cable routing for the optical drive.
Note:
Ensure that the cable is not pinched and does not cover any connectors or obstruct any components on the system board.
Ensure the relevant cables pass through the cable clips.
To connect the optical drive to the system
board, do the following:
Insert one end of the optical drive cable into the slot in the connector bracket. Then slide the connector to the left as shown until it is firmly seated in the bracket.
Connect the other end of the optical drive cable to the system board.
