Attachment requirements for z Systems hosts running the z/VSE operating system

You can review the requirements for attaching the system to a z Systems server (host) that is running the z/VSE operating system.

The following list identifies the requirements:

Check the LUN limitations for your host system.
Ensure that you have the documentation for your host system and access to this information center's hardware installation information for your Lenovo Storage V7000 model. All system publications are available from the following website:

Ensure that you have installed a supported z/VSE version. The following IBM website provides current interoperability information about supported software levels, including distribution levels:
