Ensure that your system satisfies the following requirements before you install the IBM System Storage Support for Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service and Virtual Disk Service software on
a MicrosoftWindowsServer operating system.
The following software is required:
- Lenovo Storage V7000 must
have licenses for FlashCopy® enabled.
- IBM System Storage Support for Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy
Service and Virtual Disk Service software version 4.0 or later.
- Windows Server 2008 operating system
or later. The following editions of Windows Server 2008
are supported:
- Standard Server Edition 32-bit version
- Enterprise Edition, 32-bit version
- Standard Server Edition 64-bit version
- Enterprise Edition, 64-bit version
