Use the snap command to create a snap
file on the node that you specify.
Syntax
satasksnap [ -dump ] [ panel_name ]
Parameters
- -dump
- (Optional) Collects the existing dump.
- panel_name
- (Optional) Identifies the node being serviced.
Note: If panel_name is
not supplied, this applies to the node on which the command is running.
Description
This
command creates a snap file on the node that you specify.
An invocation example
satask snap
The
resulting output:

Important: The name of the output file (placed on the specified
node) is snap.single.nodeid.date.time.tgz.
