There are restrictions for sharing HP
MA and EMA storage systems between
a host and a Lenovo Storage V7000clustered system.
An HP MA or EMA can be shared
between
a host and a
Lenovo Storage V7000 system
under the following conditions:
- A host cannot be connected
to both a Lenovo Storage V7000 system
and an HP MA or EMA storage system at
the same time.
- Target ports cannot be shared between a host
and a Lenovo Storage V7000 system.
Specifically, if an HSG80 port is in use by a Lenovo Storage V7000 system,
it cannot be present in a switch zone that enables a host to access
the port.
- LUs and arrays cannot be shared between
a host
and a Lenovo Storage V7000 system.
