You can configure an IBM® FlashSystem™storage system by using either the IBM FlashSystem storage management GUI or the command-line interface (CLI).
Both interfaces use the same design as the Lenovo Storage V7000 system. The LUNs are provisioned from IBM FlashSystem as volumes and appear as MDisks on the Lenovo Storage V7000 system. The Lenovo Storage V7000 system then uses the MDisks either as LUNs to make storage pools and provision volumes to hosts or with tiering options.
You can configure the management GUI through a web browser.
To access the CLI you need to have a valid SSH key assigned to the user. After obtaining the SSH key, create a user and specify the SSH key in the management GUI by selecting . Create a suitable user and add its SSH public key. To add a key to the superuser, right-click superuser, select Properties and add the SSH public key.
