Lenovo Storage® V7000 Gen2 node canisters have a compression accelerator installed that can increase the throughput of I/O transfers between nodes and compressed volumes. This default configuration includes the capability to replace the pass-through adapter that is installed in slot 1 with a second compression accelerator.
