Volume storage systems are collections of control enclosures.

A clustered system is a collection of control enclosures that are managed as a single system. Each control enclosure contains two node canisters.

All configuration settings are replicated across all nodes in the system. Management IP addresses are assigned to the configuration node of the system. Each interface accesses the system remotely through the Ethernet system-management addresses, also known as the primary, and secondary system IP addresses.
