The Ethernet port must be configured to allow connectivity to a backend storage controller before you can begin discovery or establish a session through the port.
Use the management GUI or the cfgportip command to enable storage system connectivity. Use the storage flag for IPv4 addresses and the storage_6 flag for IPv6 addresses.
