Grasping the blue touch points on each end
of the battery (see Location of the battery in a node canister),
lift the battery vertically upwards until the connectors disconnect.
Important: As you remove and replace
the battery, keep it parallel to the canister system board. Maintain
equal force (or pressure) on each end.
Remove the replacement battery from its package.
Grasping the blue touch points on each end of the replacement
battery, align the battery above the battery location and gently press
the battery down so that its connector fits with the connector in
the canister and its alignment pins align with the holes on the canister
main board.
If the canister
did not restart, use the management GUI to
monitor the canister and battery status.
Reconnect the cables to the canister, ensuring
that each cable goes into the same port from which it was removed
in step #v3700_rplc_batt_nodecan/remove_canister.
When the canister is back online, check the event log for
any new events that might indicate a problem with the reassembly.
