Closing the node canister

After installing options in a node canister, you must close the canister cover and install the canister in the control enclosure.

To close the canister, complete the following steps.

  1. Reinstall the cover as shown in Reinstalling the canister cover.
    1. Align the four hook slots on the cover with the pins on the canister.
    2. Slide the cover toward the latch and release levers until it locks into place.

  2. Turn the canister over and install it in the control enclosure as shown in Installing a node canister.
    1. With the latch and release levers fully extended, slide the canister into the enclosure until the levers begin to move inwards.
    2. Simultaneously close both latch and release levers.
