Configuring HP StorageWorks MSA1000 and MSA1500 systems
To use this external storage, you must configure HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array
(MSA) 1000 and 1500 (MSA1000 and MSA1500) systems for attachment to the system.
Sharing the HP MSA1000 and MSA1500 between a host and the system
You must configure your environment so that only the system can access all logical units on the HP MSA1000 and MSA1500. You can zone other hosts to communicate with the HP MSA1000 and MSA1500 for in-band configuration, but nothing else.
Concurrent maintenance on the HP MSA1000 and MSA1500
Concurrent maintenance is the capability to complete I/O operations to an HP MSA1000 and MSA1500 while simultaneously completing maintenance operations on it.
Quorum disks on the HP MSA
The system cannot use logical units (LUs) that are exported by the HP MSA1000 and MSA1500 as quorum disks.
Advanced functions for the HP MSA
The system Copy Service functions and RAID migration utilities are not supported for logical units (LUs) that are presented by the HP MSA.
