To remove or replace the lid of a node canister, use this
procedure.
To remove the lid of a node canister, which might be necessary
to service a node canister or replace a FRU (Field Replaceable Unit)
that is contained within the canister, use this procedure.
Attention: The lid of a node canister can only be removed after
the canister has been removed from its enclosure. Unless otherwise
instructed, follow
Procedure: Removing a node canister to remove a node
canister from its enclosure.
To remove a canister lid:
- Place the node canister upside down on a work surface, with the
release levers facing you.
- Open the cover of the canister by depressing the recessed, blue
touch points on the lid and sliding the lid away from you as shown
in v3500036.gif.
To replace a canister lid, slide the canister lid onto
the canister until the catch clicks and the lid edges are flush with
the canister.
