724: Fewer Ethernet ports active.

Explanation

    2. Make sure the Ethernet cable is connected at both ends and is undamaged. If necessary, replace the cable.
    3. Check that the switch port, or other device the cable is connected to, is powered and enabled in a compatible mode. Rectify any issue. The device service interface might indicate the issue.
    4. If this is a 1 Gbps port, use the remove and replace procedures to replace the SFP transceiver in the Lenovo Storage V series and the SFP transceiver in the connected switch or device.
    5. Replace the adapter (depending on the port location) by using the remove and replace procedures.
