When a drive is made a candidate, the new drive is validated to ensure that adding it to the configuration will not adversely affect the existing or future array status. Either the current status of the drive has not allowed the validation to be performed, or the validation has failed.
Fix any errors associated with the specified drive, or specify a different drive, and resubmit the command.
