Safety Information

This section contains safety notices from Lenovo® product documentation. The safety notices include safety statements, danger notices, and caution notices for systems and devices, and the safety notices for racks and rack components. Each safety notice contains a reference number that you can use to locate the safety notice in each language.

Safety statements, danger notices, and caution notices are organized alphabetically in sections by language:

• Safety statements are numbered sequentially, following the format Safety Statement x, where x is the safety statement number. Safety statements call attention to situations that are potentially lethal, hazardous, or dangerous to people.
  Note: There might be some redundancy between the safety statements and the danger and caution notices described below.
• Danger notices are numbered sequentially, following the format Dxxx, where xxx is the danger notice number. Danger notices are special notes in the text that call attention to situations that are potentially lethal or extremely hazardous to people.
• Caution notices are numbered sequentially, following the format Cxxx or Rxxx, where xxx is the caution notice number. Caution notices are special notes in the text that call attention to situations that are potentially hazardous to people because of some existing condition, or are potentially hazardous situations that might develop because of some unsafe practice.
• Rack safety statements are numbered sequentially, following the format Safety Statement x, where x is the rack safety statement number. Rack safety statements call attention to situations that are potentially lethal, hazardous, or dangerous to people.

Following the safety statements, danger notices, caution notices, and rack safety statements are two sections that contain multi-language danger and caution notices labels. These sections are organized numerically by label number:

• Labels are numbered sequentially, following the format Lxxx, where xxx is the label number.

• Text-based labels are numbered sequentially, following the format LTxxx, where xxx is the label number.
