Port settings for HP MA and EMA systems

Port settings are configurable at the port level.

Restriction: Only one port per HSG80 pair can be used with the Lenovo Storage V7000.

The port settings are set using the following commands:

SET THIS PORT_1_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC
SET THIS PORT_2_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC
SET OTHER PORT_1_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC
SET OTHER PORT_2_TOPOLOGY=FABRIC

These values can be checked using the following commands:

SHOW THIS
SHOW OTHER

Table 1 lists the HSG80 controller port settings that the Lenovo Storage V7000 supports:

Note: The HP MA and EMA systems support LUN masking that is configured with the SET unit number ENABLE_ACCESS_PATH command. When used with a Lenovo Storage V7000, the access path must be set to all ("SET unit number ENABLE_ACCESS_PATH=ALL") and all LUN masking must be handled exclusively by the Lenovo Storage V7000. You can use the SHOW CONNECTIONS FULL command to check access rights.
