Migrating logical units from the Fujitsu ETERNUS to the Lenovo Storage V7000

You can use the standard migration procedure with the following restrictions:

  • The Lenovo Storage V7000 must have code level 4.2.0 or higher installed before you start migration. Updates from previous Lenovo Storage V7000code levels to 4.2.0 or higher causes all Fujitsu ETERNUS systems that are attached to be excluded.
  • You must configure the Fujitsu ETERNUS system to work with the Lenovo Storage V7000 before you start migration.
  • The subsystem device driver (SDD) and Fujitsu Multipath driver cannot coexist.
  • The Lenovo Storage V7000 must support all host code levels.
