Ensure that
you are familiar with the user interface applications
that EMC CLARiiON systems use.
Navisphere
or Navicli
The following user
interface applications are available with EMC CLARiiON systems:
- Navisphere
is the web-based application that can
be accessed from any web browser.
- Navicli is the command-line
interface (CLI) that is installed
as part of the Navisphere Agent software (the host software).
Note: Some
options and features are only accessible through the
CLI.
Communication with the EMC CLARiiON in both cases is out-of-band.
Therefore, the host does not need to be connected to the storage over
Fibre Channel and cannot be connected without
Access Logix.
