Attachment requirements for hosts that run VMware operating systems
When you attach the system to a host that runs on a VMware operating system, certain
requirements must be met.
Ensure that enough Fibre Channel adapters are installed in the server to
handle the total logical unit numbers (LUNs) that you want to attach.
Ensure that you have the documentation for the VMware operating system, the guest host operating
system, and the hardware installation. All system publications are available from the following

Ensure that you installed the correct operating systems and version levels on your host. Be sure
to review the device driver installation documents and configuration utility documents for any
additional VMware or guest operating system patches that you might need.
