Configuring for SAN boot with Oracle SPARC hosts
To use the SAN boot feature with an Oracle SPARC host that is connected to the system, the boot disk must be encapsulated by the VERITAS Volume Manager. Encapsulation places the boot disk under the management of the Volume Manager.
Migrating existing SAN boot images
If you have an Oracle host and existing SAN boot images that are controlled by storage controllers, you can migrate these images to image-mode volumes that are controlled by the system.
