Use the sendcloudcallhome command to send Call Home information
directly to a server in the Cloud.
Syntax
sendcloudcallhome { -connectiontest | -uploadtest | -inventory }
Parameters
- -connectiontest
- (Required) Initiates a connection check to a server in the Cloud. The command
svcinfo lscloudcallhome shows the results whether a successful connection
is achieved.
- -uploadtest
- (Required) Uploads a test message to IBM Support. A
confirmation receipt is sent via email.
- -inventory
- (Required) Sends the current inventory to a server in the Cloud.
Description
The Call Home feature
must be enabled with the chcloudcallhome command.
Note: The -connectiontest, -uploadtest, and
-inventory parameters are mutually exclusive.
An invocation example
sendcloudcallhome -uploadtest
