- Determine whether a single drive or multiple drives are logging the error. Because multiple
drive errors can occur, it is necessary to fix other hardware errors first.
- Check related higher priority hardware errors. Fix higher priority errors before you continue.
- Use lseventlog to determine whether more than one drive with this error was
logged in the last 24 hours. If so, contact IBM support.
- If only a single drive with this error was logged, the system is monitoring the drive for health
and fails if RAID is used to correct too many errors of this kind.
