To avoid a single point of failure, the system's switch zone must include both target ports from each Xiotech ISE controller.
Target ports can be shared between the system and other hosts.
To avoid the possibility of an interaction between multipathing drivers, a single host cannot be connected to both the system and the Xiotech ISE system.
Xiotech ISE system logical unit numbers (LUNs) that are mapped to the system cannot be mapped to other hosts. Xiotech ISE system LUNs that are not mapped to the system can be mapped to other hosts.
