Before you can attach the host that is running the Microsoft
Hyper-V operating system, you must install the host bus adapter (HBA).
Before you install the HBA, ensure that the
system supports it. See the supported hardware list at the following
website if you must verify that the HBA is supported:

To install the HBA, use the following general steps:
- Shut down your host and its attached peripheral devices,
following the recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Install the HBA, referring to the adapter installation
instructions of the manufacturer.
