Switch zoning limitations for the Hitachi TagmaStore AMS 2000 family of systems

Switch zoning has limitations for the system and the Hitachi TagmaStore AMS 2000 family of systems.

Switch zoning

Members of the Hitachi TagmaStore AMS 2000 family of systems present themselves to the system as separate storage systems for each port that is zoned to the system. For example, if one of these storage systems has four ports that are zoned to the system, each port is viewed as a separate storage system rather than as one storage system with four WWPNs. In addition, a given logical unit (LU) must be mapped to the system through all storage system ports that are zoned to the system that use the same logical unit number (LUN).
