To avoid the possibility of an interaction between multipathing drivers, a single host cannot be connected to both the system and the IBMXIV Storage System system.
IBMXIV Storage System system LUNs that are mapped to the system cannot be mapped to other hosts. IBMXIV Storage System system LUNs that are not mapped to the system can be mapped to other hosts.
