Volumes that are part of a Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationship cannot be expanded or shrunk if they have a copy that is fully allocated.
Either convert all the copies to thin provisioned and wait for the conversion process to complete, or delete the Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationship, then retry the task.
