Thesystem supports expanding the size of a volume if the AIX host is using AIX version 5.2 or later.
The AIXchvg command option can be used to expand the size of a physical volume that the Logical Volume Manager (LVM) uses. The physical volume can be expanded without interruptions to the use or availability of the system. For more information, see the AIX System Management Guide Operating System and Devices.
