You can use the Emulex BIOS Utility menu
to restore the default settings for an Emulex host bus adapter (HBA).
Emulex HBAs have built-in tools to change
the HBA settings.
To restore the default settings for the
Emulex HBA, complete the following steps.
- During system boot, press <CTRL E> or <ALT
E> to invoke the Emulex BIOS configuration utility. You
see the Emulex BIOS Utility menu that lists
the host adapters.
- Type the number of the host adapter for which you want
to restore the default settings. You see the adapter panel that corresponds
to the number that you typed.
- From the bottom of the adapter panel, you see <d>
to Default Values. Press <d> to
restore the default HBA settings.
- You see the message Reboot the System to
Make All the Changes to Take Effect. Type Y to
save the changes and to reboot the system.
