Adding SSH keys for hosts other than the System Storage® Productivity Center

You can add Secure Shell (SSH) keys on other hosts.

Complete the following steps to add SSH keys on hosts:
  1. Generate the public-private key pair on each host that you want to use the Lenovo Storage V series command-line interface. See the information that came with your SSH client for specific details about using the key generation program that comes with your SSH client.
  2. Copy the public keys from each of these hosts to the master console.
  3. Use the PuTTY secure copy function to copy these public keys from themaster console to the clustered system.
  4. Repeat #svc_addingsshkeys_2l3k1n/puttyscopy for each public key that you copied in step #svc_addingsshkeys_2l3k1n/copyaddssh.
