Before you can attach the host that is running the Microsoft
Hyper-V operating system, you must install the host bus adapter (HBA).
Before you install the HBA, ensure that it is supported by
the
Lenovo Storage V series system. See the supported hardware
list at the following websites if you must verify that the HBA is
supported:
To install the HBA, use the following general steps:
- Shut down your host and its attached peripheral devices,
following the recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Install the HBA, using the adapter installation instructions
of the manufacturer.
