Migrating logical units from the Fujitsu ETERNUS to the Lenovo Storage V series system

You can use the standard migration procedure with the following restrictions:

  • The Lenovo Storage V series system must have code level 6.4.14.2.0 or later installed before you start migration. Updates from previous Lenovo Storage V series code levels to 6.4.14.2.0 or later causes all Fujitsu ETERNUS systems that are attached to be excluded.
  • You must configure the Fujitsu ETERNUS system to work with the Lenovo Storage V series system before you start migration.
  • The subsystem device driver (SDD) and Fujitsu Multipath driver cannot coexist.
  • The Lenovo Storage V series system must support all host code levels.
