You can configure an FlashSystem™ storage system by using either the FlashSystem™ storage management GUI or the command-line interface (CLI).
Both interfaces use the same design as the Lenovo Storage V series system. The LUNs are provisioned from FlashSystem™ as volumes and appear as MDisks on the Lenovo Storage V series system. The Lenovo Storage V series system then uses the MDisks either as LUNs to make storage pools and provision volumes to hosts or with tiering options.
You can configure the management GUI through a web browser.
To access the CLI you need to have a valid SSH key assigned to the user. After obtaining the SSH key, create a user and specify the SSH key in the management GUI by selecting . Create a suitable user and add its SSH public key. To add a key to the superuser, right-click superuser, select Properties and add the SSH public key.
