You must configure IBM® DS5000, IBM® DS4000™, and IBM® DS3000 systems for attachment to a Lenovo Storage V series clustered system. Some IBM® DS4000™ controllers are equivalent to StorageTek models; Lenovo Storage V series also supports certain StorageTek FlexLine series and StorageTek D series. The information in this section also applies to the supported models of the StorageTek FlexLine series and StorageTek D series.
IBM® DS5000, IBM® DS4000™, and IBM® DS3000 are similar systems. The concepts in this section apply generally to all three systems; however, some options might not be available. See the documentation that is provided with your system for specific information.
