In a HyperSwap® system topology, you cannot add a volume copy to a different site if the existing volume is in a Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationship.
If you specified the wrong volume, correct the command and retry. If you do need to add the volume copy to a different site, first remove the Remote Copy relationship by using the rmrcrelationship command, then retry the command.
